Joining hands and hearts together
          At this place and time
    The plural becomes singular
        And all the stars align

As their souls unite in love
and their two hearts blend
One cannot see where she begins
    Nor where his heartbeat ends

The ring he places on her hand
Holds a sentiment in his heart
A sacred heirloom her
And marks their joyous start
As the miracle blends their lives
A new creation is begun
The plural becomes as one
Heart hands soul and mind
Are joined in love today
The stars illuminate their path
And love shall be their stay
