Sun Again

green grass field during sun rise

In the meadow
Spring’s valet
whisks away
remnants of
winters gray
as
rivulets of
raindrops
tickle
down
closing the curtains
on shadow’s
chill.
Light
shimmers
through the
bloated
clouds
to promise
sun
again.
