Silver Linings

Did you ever notice a rain cloud
At the moment before it breaks?
So distended with bloated fullness
The suffering it must take?

Open your eyes to see more clearly
And something positive you will find;
A special shimmer around the outside,
The warm and soothing kind.

See the sun dance along its edges
Playing there to diminish its pain.
Through the gloom the silver linings
Promise a healing rain.

For Momo
Coming home from her funeral
