Two special little children, growing up side by side,
Never realizing that one day, she would be his bride.
Baby dolls, sleepovers, and stuffed animals on her bed;
While he was doing boy things she was planning in her head…

How it would be when she grew up;
how wonderful he would be.
The one who would claim her for his own;
to her heart he held the key.

The years by so quickly, and they rarely spoke a word,
Until that day in drivers Ed, when first her voice he heard.
Something special happened then, they both knew it that day,
A seed of love was planted there, and never went away.

The bond they shared was magical; their faces glowed with love
And anyone that saw them knew it came from up above.
The love they share today will only stronger grow,
As life glides softly, sweetly by, the two of them will know…

That she completes him, and he completes her too
Together a perfect love, one so rare and true.
Two lives bonding, joining, becoming one in mind and goal,
Not knowing where he ends and she begins, one completed soul.
