beware the darkness
where grief and despair
multiply in the mind

breathing in
and breathing out
putting one foot
in front of the other
until descends
the tranquil dawn
where chaos is nowhere found
allow the sweet peace of sunrise

knowing that you have
defeated the darkness
and won the victor’s crown

that where there is light
